This is an overview of the various ministries Trinity supports.

Altar Guild

The Altar Guild is a special ministry whose mission is to care for everything that relates to the Altar.  Volunteers work in teams of two assuming the responsibility of preparing the altar for all services, including care of the vestments, linens, flowers, & replenishing the supplies.

Chalice Bearers

Chalice Bearers help the priest at the altar with administering “The Blood of Christ, the Cup of Salvation”.

Readers lend their voices to the worship when they read the assigned lessons for the week.

Acolytes, a word derived from the Greek word akolouthos, meaning companion, attendant, or helper, are usually ages 10 thru adult of both genders, carry the processional cross and torches, light altar candles, assist with altar maintenance and other duties as requested by our priest at every worship service.

The Ushers ensure that the church is in the proper condition to receive the congregation and guests, making all feel welcome. These representatives from the congregation distribute bulletins and other materials, present gifts of thanksgiving, and usher the congregation to the Lord’s table.

The Church Choir’s mission is to lead and inspire the congregation in the musical part of the liturgy, reinforcing the messages of the readings, thus enriching and uplifting the worship experience for all.

The Nursery is a service that is provided during the 10AM service for families with babies and toddlers up to 3 years of age. We have a sitter each week, so you may enjoy participation in the service. It is located in the upper parish hall, and is stocked with age appropriate toys, books, music and more to keep little ones engaged.

Membership Committee’s mission is to insure that all who come through Trinity's doors feel welcome and to provide them with all information about Trinity they may need in their decision to join our parish.

Mission and Outreach

The Mission and Outreach Committee provides for our parish community; assists those in need in our local communities; provides assistance to communities on a national level; and contributes to the greater world community.

Coffee Hour

Coffee Hour is a time for fellowship and relaxation after the 10am service.  All are welcome to sign up to host a Sunday.

Communications are done by volunteers; the monthly newsletter, the weekly bulletins, and the website are gifts of time donated by different people.

The Stewardship Committee is responsible for promoting all types of stewardship including time, talent, and treasure.  Each fall, we also are responsible for the annual pledge drive which determines the annual budget.

The Vestry is a group of 10 elected members, who serve as the governing board of the church.  Their responsibility is to set goals for the parish and to ensure that ministries are running smoothly.  The Senior and Junior Warden are the heads of is committee.

Prayer Shawl

The Prayer Shawl ministry is made up of a few volunteers that knit or crochet the shawls in their homes. The shawl is presented to the person in need, in a gift bag with a prayer of comfort included.

Education’s goal is to provide and maintain a Christian Education Program emphasizing the development of our Anglican tenants, i.e. Faith, Tradition, Reason to children through young adults.
