Trinity's Minister of Music is John Jannis, M.A.  Music Ed

John M. Jannis received his Bachelor of Arts in Music degree from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, and his Master’s Degree from Bridgewater State University. He has led liturgical music in parishes from Martha’s Vineyard to Rhode Island. He has taught private piano and voice study for over 10 years to individuals and groups from elementary schools to the elderly. He continues to learn and inspire others in their own musical journey. After the release of his first album "Sing to God, Joyfully", he is now working on writing the next album which will contain more tribal works.

John M. Jannis has dedicated his life to touching the spirit of others through the power of music. John began his musical journey when he was only six years old, first learning piano and then later teaching himself to play the organ. Furthering his education, John earned his B.A. in Music from UMass Dartmouth before going on to achieve his Master of Music Education degree from Bridgewater State University. John began to “Sing to God Joyfully” at the age of fifteen when he became an organist for the churches of Martha’s Vineyard. He has since taken on roles of varying degrees with numerous churches across the New England region. After the services have been celebrated, John continues to spread the joy of music through his profession as a private music teacher. With students ranging from young children to the elderly, he continues to inspire and be inspired as he helps them along their own musical journey.
